  1. Round my family table when mu northern grandad told me about Margaret Thatcher closing down the mines when he used to work there.
  2. Learning about the womens rights to vote in history, and my mum telling me to always vote, even if it’s just spoiling my ballot paper
  3. Voting for student council in primary school
