Earliest political memory of the day #23

epm-23My Mum used to have Radio 4 on in the mornings and in the late 70s I remember hearing the names “Bishop Muzorewa” and “James Callaghan” in the news a lot and thinking they were both very strange and funny names. For a while I used to recite “Bishop Muzorewa and the Patriotic Front” to myself as a sort of mantra. I had no idea what any of it meant, I just liked the fact that the names sounded funny to me.

Any thoughts?
